A Mission to Rescue...

Rags To Tags Rescue & Sanctuary is a Texas based 501(c)(3) Non-Profit organization, working in the Fort Bend County, TX area. We are focused on helping with the enormous problem of “dumped” dogs in the area. We work to find forever homes for the dogs, but also provide a sanctuary for the harder to place dogs, and the dogs that need long term care for one reason or another.

Some of the dogs in our care have extensive &
on-going medical issues, behavioral issues or have lived their entire lives with us. We consider these dogs “sanctuary” dogs and they will always have a loving home with us. If you would like to help with their care, toys or medical bills, please consider sponsoring one or more of them.

Success Stories

We love to celebrate the successes of dogs that get a second chance!

Forrest

This sweet boy was abused and abandoned. He was quickly adopted by a marathon runner so his name is so appropriate!

We wish Forrest & his new dad the very best life together!

Run, Forrest, Run!

Gunther

Scared & abandoned, this little muscle dog has now found his forever home with another Staffy & a blind French Bulldog. His mom is a Vet tech & he is a blood donor, working every day to save other dogs!

Mac

Displaced during a hurricane, Mac was with RTTRS for 6 weeks. His family found him online & reunited him with his loving humans & 2 brothers! It was happy family reunion & we are so glad we were able to help keep him safe!

Max

This big boy was dumped in a neighborhood & terrified of people. He was quickly fostered and then adopted by a retired chef in LaMarque, TX.

They get up early each morning to garden & watch the sun rise!

Saving one dog won’t change the world, but for that one dog, the world is forever changed
